Hello folks,
Thought I’d drop a newsletter to let you know what’s happening within the next month. Andy and I will have a table at Cinema Wasteland 3/31 – 4/2 in Strongsville, Ohio and we’ll also be at the Punk Rock Flea Market in Akron, Ohio 4/15. This coming Saturday I’ll be on the Dead Head Space podcast along with a couple of other writers to promote the American Cannibal anthology. I’m not sure when that podcast will be available so keep an eye out for it.
As for writing, I haven’t done anything under the C.V. Hunt name. I’ve been working on a project under another pseudonym at the moment that I should have wrapped up by the end of the month. I’m not certain what I’ll be working on next. I believe Andy and I may start another coauthor project at the end of May so I may take a small break until then.
For anyone interested in my health update, the epidural did not work. The injection was pretty painful and it didn’t give me any relief. The doctor believes the issue may be coming from my sacroiliac joint, which is a joint where your hip meets the spine. (see photo below) He stated that with people who’ve had a spinal fusion surgery like mine that sometimes it aggravates the sacroiliac. So the day before Cinema Wasteland, 3/30, the doctor is going to give me another injection into the sacroiliac joint. I’ve already told Andy he will be in charge of all the lifting for the convention. Also, the doctor has put in a request for an MRI of my neck because the MRI of my middle back didn’t show any reason I should have a constant burning sensation in my shoulder blade. The burning has gotten to the point that I can’t use my right arm to drive any more. He believes that the issue may be coming from my neck, possibly the degenerative discs. I’m hoping I won’t have to deal with the insurance company to get that done.
