Hey Folks,
Things have gotten crazy in the last 24 hours. The school contacted me yesterday to let me know that they’ve partnered with another certification association on January 1 and they’re looking for recent graduates to take their new certification exam. The goal is to allow students to get certified through either association, both accredited nationally. The certification is different, but essentially it’s for the same thing. If I were to pass I would be double-stacked on certifications for the same job, which couldn’t hurt while job hunting since I don’t have any experience. The only catch is that I have to pass a pre-test by Monday with at least a 70% to be accepted, and then I have to schedule and take the certification exam by March 14th. If I happen to fail, the school will provide additional educational materials to take the test a second time. All of this is offered at no cost. So, it’s back to studying like crazy this weekend. At least the pressure doesn’t feel as crushing since I still have my original certification.
